Anne Hassett
|
Anne and her husband currently share their home with 4 Labradors and 2 cats. Anne became interested in training when she realized that a solid foundation of skills taught through positive means was the best answer to a dog with aggression issues. Because of the powerful impact that Positive Reinforcement training had on her and her first Lab, "Hannah", Anne continued learning more and more about P.R. training, and has applied her knowledge and experience to all of her dogs over the last 10 years. Anne's training experience encompasses many venues of canine performance events. She has titled dogs in agility, competition obedience, hunt tests and tracking. Anne has also shown her dogs in the breed ring and is proud of the fact that she and her dog "Boomer" achieved their AKC Versatile Companion Dog title - VCD1 - in 2005. As well as being a part of the Tails-U-Win! staff, Anne teaches at Camp Gone to the Dogs and Dogskills Adventure Camp. With great joy and a sense of humor, Anne's goal is to help people enjoy their canine companions and to excite them about all the possibilities that a well trained dog has to offer. |
