Jacqueline developed an interest in puppy raising and working dogs, including service dogs and therapy dogs, when she started puppy raising for a guide dog organization in college. From here, she began working under mentorships and with other trainers before starting her own business specializing in puppy raising and socialization and helping individuals train their own service, therapy, and facility dogs.

She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree of Animal Science. Her continuing education certifications include Karen Pryor Academy’s Dog Trainer Professional Program, Atlas Assistance Dogs Trainer Academy, the Cooperative Paws Service Dog Coaching Program, as well as completing several internships.

As someone with anaphylactic allergies and autoimmune challenges, Jacqueline takes a special interest in helping others train their own service dogs to increase independence. She has a special interest in scent detection service dogs and specializes in medical scent based tasks, allergen alert, and hearing dogs as well as other task needs by request.

Jacqueline is a huge proponent of continuing education and enjoys educating businesses on the laws and etiquette surrounding service dog teams.

Jacqueline has worked in the Tails Day School and now she teaches Family Dog Classes.
