Breed Handling - Conformation Classes

About Conformation:

Every year following the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC you'll see a boatload of fancy dogs prancing around on your TV. These dogs make it look easy, although if you're new to the sport, are just starting off with a excitable puppy, or maybe have been in the ring for awhile and are just looking to brush up on your skills, a conformation/ breed handling class is the place to start!

The following classes are all 'drop-in classes' meaning there is no pre-registration necessary! Payment should be given to the instructor at the start of class in the form of cash or check made out to Sharon Grous!
Drop-in fee: $20 plus tax

Conformation Confidence Class
8-week class

This is an eight week class for puppies and young show dogs to develop Conformation skills and to also build confidence and social skills. This class will cover all the basic show skills like trotting on a loose lead, stacking, examinations, showing the bite and ring procedure, but will also include fun activities to help build confidence in varying situations. This is a great class for show dogs who could benefit from more than just a drop-in handling class.
