About Our Behavioral Trainer:
Dan is a Certified Behavioral Consultant for Canines (CCBC) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
He ran his own doggy daycare for 8 years, and then moved to training and behavior modification for dogs. Dan has now worked at Tails U Win for 2 years in the day school program and also teaches multiple family dog classes.
With years of experience working with all kinds of dogs, from search and rescue dogs to large packs of 30 or more, Dan can help you accomplish whatever goals you are looking for. Dan offers training for dogs who are reactive as well as basic obedience lessons!
Behavioral Private Lessons:
Information & Rates
Tails offers both on site private lessons on select days of the week both at our facility in Manchester as well as in the comfort of your house if that works best for your dog and their behaviors! Lessons will focus on dogs that are reactive on leash when out and about on walks, in class, and in public situations.
To qualify for these lessons, your dog must have a ZERO bite history, meaning that your dog has not caused harm or injury to another dog, person, or animal.
Behaviors that qualify for these types of lessons are any behaviors outside of the your typical basic obedience training. These lessons are for the dogs with big emotions and the handlers who need some guidance on how to help their dog navigate those emotions!
Examples of behaviors that can be worked on during these lessons are any combination of the following:

Barking/ Growling

Lunging
-
Unable to respond when distractions are present

Fearful of people and/ or environment (cars, noises, etc.)

Car Chasing

Excessive Pulling
Lesson Pricing/ Information:
Lessons are an hour long and the first Behavioral lesson is always a consultation that includes an email summary of the lesson.

Behavioral Tails Consultation: $175 + tax

Behavioral Tails Follow-ups: $157 + tax

*Behavioral Tails Follow-up 3 Lesson Package: $445 + tax
* You are only eligible for the 3 lesson package after your initial consultation and they are only redeemable at the Tails facility. The 3 lesson package cost $445 + tax and therefore saves you 10% if your training plan consists of multiple lessons.
