Lindsey’s love for training animals began in her childhood growing up on a horse farm in Kentucky and competing with her horses both on a local and national level. In 2011 her dog training career sparked when she acquired her first golden retriever (Ava) and later, in 2014, began competing in agility. Her attention to detail, precision and passion for problem solving in dog training stem from her occupation as an electrical engineer. She finds agility courses to be like a maze or puzzle where you have to strategize handling techniques in order to set the best lines for your dog and run the course challenges as fast and efficiently as possible. 

As an instructor, she supports teams at all levels of agility and enjoys helping people achieve their full potential. She finds it very fulfilling when students are having fun and proud of themselves and their dog. 

As a competitor, Lindsey has represented with her dogs nationally and internationally at events such as the World Agility Open (WAO), Américas y el Caribe (AyC), AKC Nationals, Westminster, UKI US Open, UKI 1TDC Invitationals, AKC European Open (EO) Team Tryouts, and (AWC) World Team Tryouts. Her highest level of international accomplishment to date was winning the gold medal with her border collie, Road Runner, at the 2025 FCI Agility Championship of the Américas y el Caribe in Santiago, Chile. In 2026 they were selected as 1st Reserve, Large dog, on the European Open Team USA and in 2025 they won the 600mm WAO Team USA super win on spot at the UKI US Open. Together, they have made the 2025 Short List for the AKC Agility World Championship (AWC) Team USA. Another memorable highlight was her 4th place win at 2024 AKC Nationals with her 20” border collie, Maze Runner.
