Rae has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember, but her journey at Tails started in 2019 with her dog Kaia. She came to Tails for classes and never left! She began by assisting instructors in Family Dog classes, and eventually moved to training in the day-school program and instructing her own Family Dog classes. With her own dogs, Rae has worked on everything from basic obedience to reactivity, aggression, and fearful behavior.

She currently lives in Hebron, CT with her husband and three rescue pups: Kaia, Atlas, and Arbor. They enjoy pet-sitting for clients and fostering through a local rescue. Rae is a Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and is sitting for the Certification of Professional Dog Trainers exam in September. She is happy to help clients with a wide variety of behaviors and believes in the power of connecting with your dog!
